Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any Luminary service — including Discord bots, Chrome extensions, or our website — you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the services immediately.

2. Service Overview

• Discord Bots: Provide utilities, game stats, and community tools.
• Chrome Extension(s): Assist with Steam friends and group management, highlighting bans, and optional friends list actions.
• Website: Hosts bot commands documentation, changelogs, forums, and account dashboards.

3. User Obligations

• Use all services in compliance with Discord’s Terms, community guidelines, and applicable law.
• Do not attempt to hack, exploit, or reverse engineer our bots or extensions.
• Respect the privacy of other users; do not misuse public or processed data.
• No personal account credentials (passwords, tokens, emails) are collected or stored.

4. Data Collection & Privacy

Luminary services collect only the minimum necessary data:

• Discord Bots: Discord User IDs, Server IDs, public game stats via APIs.
• Chrome Extension(s): SteamIDs and publicly available ban information, using permissions for steamcommunity.com and api.steampowered.com.
• Website: Optional user account info for dashboards or support, no sensitive credentials stored.
• Logging: Commands, timestamps, error reports for debugging and analytics, anonymized when possible.

All data usage complies with GDPR. Users may request data deletion, which places their ID on a permanent denylist.

5. Permissions & Extension Details

• The Chrome extension accesses only publicly visible Steam profile data to detect bans.
• No external code or remote scripts are executed.
• Host permissions (steamcommunity.com, api.steampowered.com) are strictly for the extension's sole purpose.

6. Data Deletion & Denylist

Users may request removal of their Discord ID or SteamID. Once deleted:

• The ID is added to a permanent denylist.
• No future data is collected or processed for that ID.
• Deletion requests must be submitted via our support email or Discord server.

7. Availability & Changes

Services are provided "as is" and may change or be discontinued at any time. Uptime and feature availability are not guaranteed.

8. Limitation of Liability

Luminary services are provided without warranties. We are not responsible for third-party content, external services, or indirect damages. We disclaim liability for errors in public game stats or extension functionality.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to services at any time for violations of these Terms or applicable rules.

10. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes are subject to German courts.

11. Updates to Terms

Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of any Luminary service constitutes acceptance of the latest Terms.
